Don't Trust the Media
Dear Press, are you this dishonest or are you this stupid? Neither is a good look.
After wading through the countless lies the media is spewing regarding the “pledge” they claim the Department of War is forcing them to sign in order to report on the Pentagon, here’s what concerns me the most. If they’re willing to veer so far from the truth on a topic that’s so easily verifiable, what level of deception exists when one can’t effortlessly debunk their statements? To say it’s worrisome doesn’t even begin to describe my level of dread.
I can say without hesitation that the mainstream media hates our country.
With the exception of OAN, all major news outlets are refusing to sign a completely straightforward document acknowledging an understanding of a new Pentagon policy. Having reviewed and analyzed the version of the “Updated Physical Control Measures for Press/Media Access Within the Pentagon” provided by The New York Times in their “How the Pentagon Is Blocking Out News Organizations” article, I am baffled by the reaction. It points to ineptitude or corruption, perhaps both.
Do you realize how many hands this updated policy passed through prior to the on air commentary by the hosts on the various news networks? At minimum their researchers and media lawyers took a pass at it. From there it likely moved on to a team of writers. Are none of them equipped to digest the English language and comprehend the words on the page? These networks are so keen to label the actions of President Trump and Secretary Hegseth as propaganda on par with that of North Korea — yet the coordinated, unified lie is coming from the media themselves.
I am rubber. You are glue. Whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you.
This is my summation of everything I’ve watched. The Trump administration is engaged in none of the accusations launched at them by the media. Rubber. The networks on the other hand are doing exactly what they charge Trump and his team to be perpetrating. Glue.
Am I being childish? Perhaps a wee bit. It mirrors the immature nature with which the press is addressing this situation. I did scrap my original title, “Liar Liar Pants on Fire.” See! I exercised a tiny dose of maturity.
